Day 1
Arrive Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport / railway station you will be transferred to the hotel in Delhi. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 2
Delhi - Tour Old & New Delhi
Today after breakfast, proceed on tour of Old Delhi, with a visit to Jama Mosque, the largest mosque in India, built in 1650 AD. Drive past Red Fort (closed on Mondays), 1639-48 built by Emperor Shah Jehan, creator of The Taj Mahal. Later visit to Raj Ghat - the site of the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi and Shanti Vana - the memorial of Independent India’s frst Prime Minister, Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru. Later drive past through the Embassy area (Diplomatic enclave), Government buildings - Parliament House and Presidents House and India Gate. Then visit Qutab Minar, built in 1193 in persian style of architecture. Also visit Humayun's Tomb - this magnifcent garden tomb is the frst substantial example of Mughal architecture in India. It was built in 1565 A.D. nine years after the death of Humayun, by his senior widow Bega Begam. Inside the walled enclosure the most notable features are the garden squares (chaharbagh) with pathways water channels, centrally located well proportional mausoleum topped by double dome. Day 3
Delhi – Agra (Approximate 233 kms / 4 hours)
This morning drive to Agra - in the 16th and 17th centuries was the capital of Mughal India and its superb monuments date from that era. It has a magnifcent fort and the building which so many people come to India solely to see the Taj Mahal. On arrival check into hotel. Later tour Agra Fort, the original red sandstone fort built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565. The Forts maze of courtyards, its marble mosque and lavish private chambers refect the grandeur of the Mughal Empire. Visit Taj Mahal - the mausoleum of Empress Mumtaz Mahal, the beloved spouse of Shah Jahan, who died in 1630.Overnight at the hotel in Agra.
Day 4
Agra – Jaipur (Approximate 240 kms / 4 hours 30 mins)
Today proceed to the Pink City - Jaipur. Evening enjoy Chokhidhani - A Traditional designed village, where one can experience Traditional Rajasthani Culture and Cuisine. Experience the rich warmth and rustic charm of a typical Rajasthani Village at Chokhi Dhani and later enjoy the Rajasthani cuisine. Overnight at the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 5
Jaipur
This morning proceed on excursion to Amber Fort - the original Palace was built by Raja Mansingh and later additions were made by Sawai Jai Singh. One of the fnest example of Rajput architecture. Enjoy the ascent to the Palace on the back of a brightly caparisoned elephant. Visit the multiple chambers and hallways of the palace which are famous for their design and decorations. Late morning return to hotel for lunch. Afternoon, proceed for a city tour to visit the unique Jantar Mantar, which is a magnifcent stone observatory built by Raja Jai Singh in 1728 and drive past the Hawa Mahal, an intriguing “Palace of Winds”. This was really a facade built in 1799, to allow royal ladies to view the city from the windows. Later visit the opulent City Palace, the former royal residence built in a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal style which has grand museums displaying an excellent collection of miniature paintings, costumes and armory. Overnight at the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 6
Depart Jaipur
This morning you will be transferred to Jaipur airport / railway station for your fight / train back home or your next destination.
